In Ionion Sails, in contrast to other chartering and brokering companies, we conduct the greatest part of maintenance and repairing works by our own team, with people of all specialties required (specialized engineers, electricians, and so on and so forth)
At Ionion Sails we are passionate with our yachts and in love with technology. For this specific reason for the past 6 years we update regularly with photos and videos the service books of all our yachts under management.
By this way, our clients can be really aware of every detail of their yacht.
In our warehouses and mobile workshops we have a great plethora of tools and spare parts for each and every one of our yachts to cover every need that might arise either during the summer season or the winter maintenance.
Furthermore, we have exclusive bulk co operations in order for our yachts to be not only Charter Proof but also equipped with the most qualitative parts in the best prices in the yacht industry.
Our exclusive drydock location as well as our unique way of lifting and launching of the yachts with the use of a trailer, offer complete safety and easy access all year round since it is located just a few kilometres away from the centre of Athens and only 30 minutes away from the international airport of El. Venizelos.
Although Ionion Sails has its own team of engineers, for any specialised work we have exclusive co operations with authorised engineers of all the widely used combustion engines both in Athens and in the Ionion.
Our team possesses a fully equipped electrical workshop specialised in the maintenance of starters and alternators, windlass as also bow thrusters.
Moreover, we cooperate with the authorised representatives of MAX Power, Quick, Raymarine, Opac Mare, Furuno and Garmin in Greece.
In our facilities in Athens we have our own carpentry with all the necessary equipment for any type of carpentry work on yachts up to 20 metres.
Moreover, our team includes technicians specialising in any type of wood and cloth yacht coating.
Since 1995, when Vangelis Efstatiou started his professional avocation with sailing yachts and up until today, our company is based on yacht rebuilding/ refitting.
Due to our 25 years of experience, our team is particularly specialized in restoring any type of damage and in highlighting the beauty of a yacht.
Three mobile workshops including a rib, a speed boat as well as our two fully equipped vans – workshops are ready to be next to you for anything you might need by supporting you 24/7 during the summer period.
